Is Autumn Calabrese’s 21 Day Fix Worth Buying?

The idea that you can see substantial changes to not only your weight but your figure in 21 days seems foreign to many people, but it is a reality. In the 21 Day Fix, you may find that your diet is changing substantially and some exercises are initially beyond you, but with perseverance and hard work, it genuinely is possible to see visible results in 21 days. It works! However, will it work for everyone?

The short answer is no. Although the production of this DVD package is fantastic and the level of content is superb, the difficulty of some of the exercises will not be enough for hard-core workout enthusiasts who are used to P90X Insanity and other such intense workouts. The 21 Day Fix is far from gentle, but it doesn’t reach the same levels of intensity that some of the more extreme fitness packages offer. For this reason, the 21 Day Fix would be of greater use to beginner or intermediate exercisers.

This is not a workout plan for gym bunnies, but rather a challenging but achievable fitness blitz that can take inches and pounds off in weeks. All of the exercises can be completed with a simple mat and a selection of dumbbells or resistance bands, but can similarly be done without. Throughout the exercise videos are examples of people of varying abilities completing the workouts, along with modifiers for numerous, more challenging exercises. The video is mirrored for convenience, and there are constant reminders regarding form. All in all, those looking for a high-intensity 30-minute blitz workout should probably look elsewhere, but for beginners and intermediate exercisers of all shapes and sizes, Autumn Calabrese’s 21 Day Fix is certainly worth investing in.
