If you are serious about your exercise and health, then you are likely going to want to check your blood oxygen levels and your pulse regularly.

This is done to ensure that you are maintaining a good rhythm while exercising.

It is most important to check during cardio exercise, but it can also be useful to check during resistance training as well.

There are a number of monitors out there that you can use to check your blood oxygen level and your pulse regularly.

In this review, we will be looking at one such monitor from AccuMed.

Key Features of the AccuMed Finger Pulse Blood Oxygen Monitor

  • The monitor is battery powered and promises at least 40 hours of continuous use.
  • A specially-designed screen that can be easily read in bright conditions.
  • Comes with additional lanyard and carrying case for easy transportation.
  • The product comes with a 1-year warranty.

Is the AccuMed Finger Pulse Blood Oxygen Monitor Worth Buying?

The best thing about this monitor is how easy it is to quickly look at it and then keep on exercising.

A big issue with a lot of monitors is that they can be a bit difficult to read, especially in sunlight.

You have to stop and squint to read all the important information.

But, with the AccuMed monitor, you can quickly see all the important information before continuing on with your exercise.

In terms of actual performance, the AccuMed works extremely well. It is easy to set up and it lasts a long time.

The box promises at least 40 hours of continuous use, but we would be shocked if you did not end up getting more than that.

The monitor is not a power hog at all and you do not need to worry about having to constantly buy replacement batteries. Which is really good when you consider that it runs on triple A batteries, which can be a bit expensive.

Finally, the added lanyard and carrying case are both nice additions that make it very easy to transport the monitor around.

The biggest issue with this monitor is that the back cover (the thing that protects the batteries) slides off very easily. So, unless you put some tape on it, expect it to fall off while exercising.

This is a minor issue, but it is still very annoying to deal with and it would be nice if they fixed the back cover on future releases.
